I love these! Probably one of my favorites made by you. Great job, that's such a nice thing to do.
Hey guys, sorry been a crazy month haven't posted much. Did a map for my family of my two grandparent's property, where I spent quit a few days running around their property. Small farms, one grandfather was a plumber, had the grapevine/small fruit trees and vegetable garden; the other was retired as far as I remember, arthritis, had a little larger farm and sold some crop - made homemade horseradish, corn, strawberries, other seasonal crops at the roadside market.
One jpeg are the 4 phases of process - 1. Line work, 2. shadow, 3. color, 4. title panel & border.
Hope you like and hopefully come January I'll be a little more active.

Lovely work Snodsy !
Oh beautiful - again!
I bet you could start up a business just mapping people's properties for them in this style - if you were ever in need of a few bucks
I must be skint! I'm thinking in financial terms again!

These are lovely and excellent indeed, and the place names are quietly evocative of a child's sense of scale. When I saw the Snodgrass map, the first thing I thought was Calvin & Hobbes.
Just a couple editorial comments. In the lower center of the Williams' front yard, you have "Croquet Filed" instead of Croquet Field; and in both maps, "vegtable" should be vegetable.
