    Default Daniel's Mapvember

So most of you probably know about Mapvember by now. It's a challenge to make one map, every day of november: thirty maps in thirty days. I'm joining in on the challenge and will see where it goes. Don't really know if Ill sit it out to the end, or maybe I'll skip a few days, but I'm going to try and make are map (and upload it here) every day. I hope to use it to practice speed, and some different styles.

So here's Mapvember 01. This one was actually very exciting, because I never got the chance (or took the time -_-") to draw a dungeon map. A whole while back I came across a style that I really liked and I thought Mapvember 01 would be a great opportunity to try it out. Took about 1 hour.

And today I just finished Mapvember 2, about 2 hours and 45 minutes. Quite happy with what I was able to do in that time (:

I'll be back with another map tomorrow (:

Nice start, and I definitely agree with Thomas about taking on the colour! Very elegant looking second piece there.

    Good luck with the month!

These are fantastic maps, kudos on fitting the colour in too. I don't think I could manage colour in the time I have but who knows! 28 maps left to go, and you've inspired me. Really great work, and thank you for sharing it! I really really like your dungeon map a lot, an excellent example of economic use of time and lines, but ending up with a really solid composition.

    Cheers,
    Meshon

    Gorgeous stuff Dan
You are setting a high bar for Mapvember.
I'm not even gonna try for that high, after all that Inktober effort.
Looking forward your maps throughout the month.

Edit - must spread rep. I'll be back.

Lovely stuff, Dan. Very similar to your Day 2 map, but still gorgeous.
