    Map The Mark of Greenwald

    Hi all!

I'm sharing one of the latest RPG maps I made.
It started as a sketch, but then I kind of liked it and I ended up rendering it to a finished piece.

The map is hand-made with ink and digital typography.
The original is pretty small (somewhere around 10x15 cm) so it's not very detailed

I've tried to put some extra effort in the toponymy, building some kind of history and culture just with the names of the places.
I didn't push it too far with this, but I'm planning to make it a prominent aspect of some of my upcoming fantasy maps.

I've made the map available at my RPGNow page.

Oh this is beautiful. Really gives me hope for whats achievable with the whole ink medium.

I saw this over on your site the other day before you posted here and I liked it a lot.
Glad you posted it. The red trail is a very striking addition to this splendid map.
I love the title lettering. Is it hand lettered or a font? I love that G
I would love to hear if you do well with sales on rpgnow.
I have contemplated it but results sounded iffy based on some of the more well known people on there.

Nice work. I love the sketchy, hand-drawn style.

Very nice work! An invitation to play .
I really like the way you handle the coasts, by the way.

Fantastic map once again ! I cannot decide if you used grey or white for the sea right next to the coast ? If it's white, the waves are a mighty win with their darkening effect (if not, they're still a mighty win). I'll have to come back later for some rep.

Very nice though the red looks a little strange against the overall monochrome feel.
