    Map La Panache Blanc

Next up is a recent commission I finished of the French Religious Wars. It was fun replicating a vintage map, I learnt a bunch from it and am pretty happy with how it turned out.

Original was designed for print at A2.

You captured the vintage feel really well here! Very nice use of texture too.

I like the mountains effect, I might try that myself.

Panache Blanc sounds like a perfume

Excellent ! beautiful work to reproduce the age of the map: it has all the atmosphere of an antiquity, but remains very readable and very pleasant to the eye!

Very well done! The historical style is pulled off neatly.

I love how you played with the shapes to stick to the era and the distorted frame is a real bold choice but an effective one ! Also, seing Espagne all over the place is kinda funny even if it's completely accurate, these guys were everywhere. Cheers for another great map Greg

Nailed it! This could easily pass for a map of that era. The border transformation was an interesting idea, and it works pretty well. Great job all around.

    Cheers,
