Map 39 - Gorgomotha, the Penninsula of Giants

The great Gorgomthan Penninsula sits astride the sweltering equator in the far West of the world, home to outsized creatures, outsized dangers, and outsized riches for those brave-or foolhardy-enough to seek them. The ancient and tribal Giants live in ritualized confederation with the hulking, solitary Beetletaurs of the western deserts and badlands. Foreign wee-folk (anyone smaller than the Giants and Beetletaurs) are known in small numbers, but are largely relegated to a small penninsula of their own in the east of Gorgomatha.

(That's the basic setup. Working on hashing out ideas, flavor, geography, and artistic direction. Going to be playing this pretty straight without much satire or comedy.)

I'm sad to hear about the lack of satire and comedy...
The whole cheese thing sort grew a life of its own.
Most of the countries are more straight so you're in good company.

Going with a very ancient Grecian, epic Homer sort of art direction combined with some of the more modern map legend elements.

Still a big, big WIP.

Yeah, trying for an ancient Greek vase style here to mix it up. Wanting to get away from some of my typical design choices as a part of this exercise.

Yeah, defininitey need to change that up, but due to work travel, I won't be able to really hash that out till this weekend.

Still a lot of design exploration to get things dialed in, then I can start fleshing out the area.
