This is amazing. Congrats on v1.0, and thank you so much for sharing your work!
Ok, I think I'm ready to release 1.0 of WordBuilder.
Fixes since 0.9:
- Drop command now works, dropping from the end of the word.
- Translate command now supports begin and end markers:
Only removes double a's at the beginning and end of the word.Code:Translate { # a a => a a a # => a }- The generate dialog now supports any number of starting rules.
- The new Column directive allows you to show marks and branches as columns in the list view.
Code:Column Title1 Branch1 Column Title2 !Mark1 Column Title3 Branch1.!Mark2- The new Leave command takes tokens off the word until the requested number of tokens are left.
Code:Leave 2- WordBuilder now has an icon. Anyone want to make a better one?
- The installer now asks where to install. Uninstall 0.9 before installing the new one.
- New example project at http://whee.dk/wordbuilder/prach_eboch.wordo
- Detail view now shows details for all selected words as preview of what you'll copy with Copy details to clipboard.
Download at http://whee.dk/wordbuilder/WordBuilder.msi - and please, please give me some feedback?
This is amazing. Congrats on v1.0, and thank you so much for sharing your work!
Thank you!
Of course, I'm curious as to what you're doing with it - and what you'd like to be able to do
For line 71, 72 and 73 of prach_eboch.wordo the command 'column' was not recognized.

I'm sorry, this is because of a bad update. Entirely my fault.
I just tested a bit, and I was not able to upgrade the 0.9 to 1.0 using the installer. I could uninstall and then install a new one, though. I'm rather new at making installers, so I must've done something wrong there.
I've made a new installer, and updated the version number to reflect the added icons.
Could you try that one, see if it updates the app better? You should see a change in icon to the main application, and prach_eboch.wordo should work.

Would love to see what you're getting out of it (and how you're getting it)
http://www.cartographersguild.com/sh...31&postcount=9 holds a brief description of commands in 0.9 - combined with the first post in this thread, you have a complete list of commands.
I'm trying to write some documentation on http://whee.dk/?page_id=65 as well, and I hope to expand that enough to call it a manual eventually. What format would you prefer? Cheat sheet or more in-depth one-page-per-command?
Well, I've updated the documentation quite a bit, and added a forum to my site, so questions and such about Wordbuilder can go there.
I'll try to make a help file for the application. Some syntax highlighting and such (auto-complete) would be useful too, I guess.
Any opinions? Results and/or .wordo files you can share?
In case anyone is subscribing to this, there's a new version of WordBuilder out
I need to snag me a copy of this and give it a test-drive. I'm curious if it might be a better word generator for helping me in creating languages... especially once I've created all the rules for how nounds, verbs, etc. are structured. I look forward to test-driving.
