How do I remap my Polar region map to Equirectangular World Map

Hi there readers.

Hope someone can help me. not even sure if the title of this thread would be correct. but let me try to explain.

I have a map of my Northern Pole and need to work it into my "Equirectangular World Map".

Doing Something like this:

With this:
Pole Test.jpg

I was hoping this can be done in photoshop (only need a tutorial) or by any other software that is recomended and user friendly.

Try Filter>>Distort>>Polar Coordinates, going from polar to rectangular. Make sure that your pole is in the exact center of your image before you start for best effects.
