Mar/April '20 Lite Challenge: Golzrug's Sanctuary

Hello everyone

First of all, I hope that everyone is well and healthy given the current situation.

I've ear a lot of good things about Krita and wanted to give it a shot for a while so I've decided to take this opportunity to give it a go. So far I am really liking it.

My idea for this island was that a dragon had died there, but instead of turning into a skeleton, it would transform and merge with the nature.
So far I am having a blast with this map. For know this is just a sketch, a lot is missing and it definitely need a lot of work.

Finally got to finish the lines. I'm having some difficulty adjusting to krita preset for the pressure sensitivity of the pen and I unfortunately don't have time to twick it or redo my linework. Guess it will have to do for now.

Time to add some colors.

I really like the idea behind that mountain range; it's pretty epic. And I also can't wait to see the colored version!

Great linework. Really an epic scale to it with the landscape being shaped by giants of the distant past. Look at the size of that sword as well! Perhaps some giant being used it to slay the dragon?
