Welcome back RPGMM! I think you do a fine job at all those styles, its good to have such a variety of techniques in your repertoire!
Hi all,
I am sorry that I have not been around in a long time. I have been deployed for the US air force two more time since my last post. I have missed being involved. I stop by the site as much as I can but I just have not posted... This site is a constant inspiration to me because of all of you and the wonderful work you do!
Here are some random maps that I have been working on. I am not sure if I will finish some of them and others are as finished as they will get. I welcome feedback on them as what you have to say will make my future maps better.
I am still looking for the "style" I like best.

beautiful maps man! I especially like the forth one. loves the details
So, I just posted some new mountains at the link in my signature and thought I might throw them into one of the maps to see how they work.
This is the result.

Oooh, pretty! I liked the first of the maps you posted the best, and those new mountains make it look even cooler.
Great textured map and Style...
Very Nice!
Éli,
IMHO, that first map could approach some of the featured maps with a bit more work. Personally, a bit of blending of the mountain base into the terrain (say using the smudge tool) would really set it out...
