Excellent! I love the beasties here and there, but the Kraken itself is stealing the show.
Hello eveyone, long time no see!
I think I'm back..
I finally managed to finish this map I started long ago, I'm proud to present you the infamous "Kraken Bay"
KrakenBay.jpg
I felt inspired from a board game and a book that I was reading ("Blood Rage" board game and "The Crystal Shard" by R.A. Salvatore) to create a nordic setting involving sea and land, with viking vibes.
My initial thoughts was to call it "Harlakan Bay" (no reasons, just liked the sound.. ) but I think that those bay branches look like arms of a giant octopus, so "Kraken Bay" feels more cool!
Enjoy!

I love this map! There are so many little delights in it, like the troll heads popping up above the tree line, the dragon coiled around the mountain, the totem pole. Such a great, interesting map! The kraken looks annoyed at having to hold up the spear.
Oh man, I'm so glad you finished this. The attention to detail is out of this world, even down to the canvas feel to the title banner. Top notch.
Great map, love all the artwork!!

Now that's just TOO damn cool! Love it! One of those maps you wish you could actually visit...with a heavily armed escort of course. lol
So many details!!! Quite a job, and a real success! You can really feel the Nordic atmosphere and the Viking vibes. Special congratulations for the kraken on the border : he looks really unhappy... like a real Kraken...
Love how you placed monsters around the map showing what adventurers could encounter in their explorations. ANd the Kraken holding the compass is a great touch.
