Hi everyone!
I am looking to hire a skilled cartographer/artist to help me with a project. My budget is limited, as this is a personal project that I hope to one day self-publish as my first zine/booklet for a D&D module. However, I am willing to pay $100 to $250 (varying depending on the level of detail the cartographer adds to the map).
The project is: take a current side-view landscape image I have (previously commissioned) and create a top-down topographic map in a black and white style detailing the terrain (elevation lines, etc.).
The style I'm looking for is something akin to these images:

Obviously, your own personal style and touch would be nice.
As I noted, the "source image" is side-view, so the cartographer would need to have some imagination filling in the non-viewable terrain. So, I'm hoping whoever takes on this project has some imagination and creativity and is willing to add some interesting touches of their own. Something I could later elaborate on in the eventual module.
I have no time restrictions. I'm in no hurry. In fact, I'd rather work with someone that is willing to go back and forth collaboratively with various sketches before we commit to a final design.
Quality should be hi-res (enough to eventually print poster-size - a vector would be even cooler).
We can negotiate copyright stuff. I'm pretty flexible on that.
I'll attach a low-res image of the landscape design we'll be working from.
