I LOVE the images you've put in the corners, they look amazing!

Don't really have the time for this (well, as usual... I know, I repeat myself a lot!).
But I couldn't resist it, somehow. Plus, I want to try something with a bit of perspective, since I'm admiring those.
First : I'm NOT doing this to win a dollar!
Second : well, that's more a start than anything else, and thus, subject to a lot of changes...
Third : it's still a good thing to have third points to make.
There's an old war born from a dispute around a "diamond fever", a bit like a gold rush with diamonds. So, the two kingdoms are fighting over diamond mines for centuries, claiming the lands for obscure reasons (some says that the magistrate who was in charge to settle the original dispute got a flu and was badly understood ).

Wow! They are indeed great - and I know the map will be too I was really eager for another one of yours
Hahaha, can't believe you're actually doing this!
Great start Ilanthar. Always love you classic, beautiful style, so looking forwards to seeing how it grows and how those warriors at the bottom get fleshed out (*fingers crossed one's Joe Pesci). Also, I hope you get that dollar.
PM me an address where you want it sent, and this or one just like it can be all yours.
Thanks everyone!
I'm doing some tests for troops right now and wondering if the perspective is visible enough...
@Diamond : for some reason, I'm afraid it wouldn' be worse it . I would love to see a new dollar bill with Joe Pesci in the medallion !

Those look really nice, Ilanthar! They're small, but the detail still carries through enough I think.
I was hoping to have something similar on my map, so those are definitely a great inspiration!
Looks really good. Those small army icons are fantastic. I think the figures on the side are also really good, however for the arm lifting the mask I'd straighten out the bicep part a bit because it's bowing just a tad too much.
Thanks!
@Greg : I'm looking forward to see more on your map !
@Falconius : yup, I'll try to correct that, thanks .
Some more troops. I'm gonna be lazy and place a hostile desert in the northern part.
