    New member here! Mostly interested in mapping for World-Building, although if I'm ever asked to DM a game it'll certainly be useful for that. Up until now I've been trying to create a set of historical maps (with borders changing due to wars, expansion, &c.) by hand - it gets pretty tedious. From the tutorials I've looked at so. far, this will be a great resource. Now if I can just dig up my maps and start converting them to GIMP...

    Welcome to the guild. Good luck with your transition to GIMP but I believe it'll work best by continuing to do your preliminaries and line work by hand and scan them in for tech up and then color. Keep at it and you'll do great.
