Map World Map of Eltera ( Commission )

Hello after long time I got the permission to post the map I did for a client.
I put in form of Mockup as the map is not clearly placed and usable at least not untill there will be permission to publish it, the original map is 21000 pixels wide.
The world map was based on client specific requested inputs and studies for a plausible geological, tectonic, climatic and geographic Earth like planet.
The map contains some hints to the actual future book and works.
The idea was to represent a sort of vintage but modern navy captain desk with a modern map of the world on it.
My imagined period is early age of electricity.

I hope you like it .

    Wow. This is epic!
Did you 3d render the objects on the desk?
Looks awesome, I love the realism and moody lighting

Wow ! Another pearl !!! It takes a lot of courage to "hide" part of your beautiful map in order to set an ambiance !!! But it such a success, the illustration is so appealing !!! Congratulations !

I hate that my comments aren't really about the map, which looks pretty darned cool, what we can see of it. My absolute favorite thing about it is the pencil sharpener, while the thing that bugs me is that all those coins have been worn down in exactly the same way.

Thankyou! You are right about the coins infact I used a placeholder while I waited received the name and description of the coin from the client , so I now changed it and added 6 different types of coins ... I updated the image.

I'd love to see the map itself without all the "shenanigans around it". Don't get me wrong, the picture looks really good, in an artful way. It's a nice set-piece. But i'd like to see only-the-map, if at all possible.

I'll kind of have to concur with Eilathen - the render is cool, but I'd kind of like to see the actual map better. It does look nice as far as I can see, but I'd love to get a better look.
