Hey buddies,

I'm already glad to be here.

I'm an early D&D player, which developped my map design lovin. I'm also a big (BIG) fan of the "Baldur's Gate II : Shadows of Amn" virtual RPG ; but since it's based on D&D rules it's pretty obvious...

Drawing maps is something particular to me (like staring some actually), because it's always the first step of a scenario in my mind. It allows to imagine everythnig in a story, regadless of why the story is made for. Then you can asleep while drawing the story in your mind, thinking all the details of your map to build something consistent and rich.

I'm a casual draftsman, so dont be rude to me because I don't use any software except those that aren't made for (eg. powerpoint.. dont blame me!).

I was once quite partial to using PP for practically anything graphical, so I know where you're coming from

Besides - who knows what else you might try now that you've started down this road of discovery?
