Though it's only 2.4 acres in size, Santa Cruz is home to over 1,200 people. That's four times as dense as Manhattan—and with no high-rises at all, just tiny one-story houses linked by a maze of alleyways."

Yikes! Gives me the shivers to even think about living there. Don't buy property, sea level rise should reach that area in about 20 years now. Those houses are going to float away.

Surely there's a better life on the mainland...

Sounds like there's a good business opportunity selling them pontoons. The island slowly tranforms into a flotilla.
