Small village north of Reyalinn - my other map. I did this in a single sitting - about three hours which I think is pretty good.

    3 hours?!? That's it?

I love the design, especially the stone walls.

There's less going on in this map than might appear though. Also I have done two maps in this colour scheme too so I have my entire palette already set. I did try a new style for thatch buildings that I like. And it's small with only a handful of buildings. And there are no trees.

It was nice to get something done in a single evening so I'm tempted to do more smaller maps like this.

Small and simple, and in a very nice way!

For me, you're an expert to do those maps of a village, a building, a hamlet. They strike the imagination and have a distinct flavour.
And in 3 hours, that's very well done!

The simplicity is just wonderful - no clutter - no fussing or over-editing. Just wonderful
