    Map The three pieces map

An experimentation on a torn map. Three pieces to get to the booty. Still experimenting on worn borders.

Pen and poscas (white for the coastal waves, black for the gaps and glittering blue for the rivers ... I noticed it was glittering after I traced my first stroke and decided to go with it) on craft paper.

And a little bonus, a map, quickly drawn and labelled where pieces have been ripped.

Thanks Josiah. I regret only one thing, they hide the map. I'll do another one and add the rips digitally. I've practiced enough with sketched worn borders, time to go digital and add some shading. We'll see if I can approach a result similar to the Masters maps.

Héhé, cela me rappelle cette bonne vieille carte de Légendes des Contrées Oubliées où des bestioles cachent des portions de la carte.

    Well done!

Oh, i missed this, but i think you did a great job with the torn map Thomas! The colored elements (rivers and shore) are rather strong (given these are the only ones on the map) distracting the perception of the difference of land an sea a bit.
Also thanks to mention the "Légendes des Contrées Oubliées" (btw. are D&D's "forgotten realms" called the same in french?) Ilanthar. I just googled it and found out i browsed them at a friend of mine years ago but i could not recall the (german) title or authors. Have to see if i can get a copy of hem soon^^
