Map views & downloads

Hi Everyone,
I posted my first map. Is there is a way of seeing how many views a map gets. It would be fulfilling to see if I created a map that people enjoyed and found useful. I have enjoyed so many of your (the community's) maps. THANKS!!!

Hey there! I can't speak to whether or not you can see how many views your maps get, as I don't have that kind of technical knowledge.

But I assume you are talking about the map you posted in the gallery on your profile? Generally speaking, your work might get a better amount of eyeballs on it if you posted it on the Finished Maps section of the forum (if it is finished) or to the WIP thread area (if it's still a work in progress). I do believe people only pretty much see the galleries if they visit your profile directly, and if you're not posting your maps on the forums proper, folks are less likely to find their way over there.

Of course it's up to you if you want to post them there or not, but just something to consider

As Kell said, you have to post your maps in Finished Map section or in one of WIPs if you want people to see notice them.
I see that you have just uploaded a map in your profile gallery. People will only see it if they access your forum profile and then check the gallery you made.
I suggest to post it in Finished Maps forum. Nobody is really cheking people profiles gallery, unless they are looking for a specific person works.

I don't know about personal albums but on a thread like this one, all you need to do is to place your mouse over the image and it will tell you the number of viewers.
