What a happy place to live in
Hey everyone,
This is the second map commissioned for an online fantasy game project ( the first one was the map of Slyrn) The map is 12"x10", digitally hand-drawn in Photoshop.

They just wanted you to use really odd colors for their maps didn't they?
As always it looks amazing! Sorry I can't rep you.
It's gorgeous (as ever) but... why is it red?
Makes me think everyone killed each other in a horrible thousand years war and literally left the land/water stained with their blood. Then the trees and plants drank it up and started to grow tinted leaves. And they became poisonous and spread across the land and when new explorers/settlers come they will all go mad from eating the poisoned blood fruit and start killing each other in a vicious cycle and..
Sorry I got carried away there
Have you "liked" a post today?
You have to be the busiest cartographer on earth
It looks nice as always, a like the red colors. Makes it unique and foreboding.
What I want to know is how the hell do you manage to turn over such high quality work so quickly!?
Please say you didn't finish this in the two days it's been since you posted Slyrn! Please…?
Seriously though, fantastic job, the colors are awesome. Out of curiosity, where you asked to do a red map specifically, or was it your own idea?
Thanks much guys!
@ afters : well I guess not the busiest one but I wouldn't say I'm complaining
@ Arsheesh: sure, my secret isn't such a complicated thing: you just have to....wait....you don't really want to know, don't you?
@ Lingon: are you gonna throw things to my head if I say yes? as for the colors, red wasn't specifically requested. The requesr was that Melkos has to be significantly different from Slyrn in colors, showing that it was a different world (and a darker one, without making the map too dark)
