    Default (Commission) Au'rum

    Been a while since I've posted any finished maps here...

    Here's a little commission piece I just wrapped up. The client's idea for this place was a land shaped by a magical cataclysm originating from the volcanic area in the middle of the map, and so we came up with the idea of these mountain ranges forming a rough crater shape around it.

    This was a lot of fun to work on, it gave me an excuse to try out things hadn't before. Hope you like it!

    You sepia/brown palette works so well, once again !
    Love the many kind of lands you have here (the swamps are very subtle).

    Thanks! You don't seem to be alone in this, the sepia parchment tones are the thing I get commissioned for most often.
