    Nice! Welcome to the forum.

To give some advice, you might tell us, for what purpose the map will be.
Just for fun? Picture for the entrance hall of your grand mother? For a game? A novel?
Are you planning to paint it completely on paper or are you using software to get the finishing touches?
Do you work with a tablet? Will this be a colour map or only black and white?

Generally, I would suggest to draw it a little bigger to get more quality to detail, and with a pencil that is sharpened.
Pay a lot of attention to typography. Add a wind rose and scale. Fit it better to format. Add a borderline.

If you want to have a more realistic style:
The river could be more curved, running through hillside terrain.
The montains could be more different in size and shape.

That are some good ideas, to explain the purpose, I'm just making it for fun and I'm planning to make complete back story's and history but it ain't finished yet. No I'm not using software, and I'll was already planning to make some detailed maps. But this is a world map and regional maps were on my planning. Thanks for the good advice!

That is slightly better. But still, there's way to go.
The map seems to be drawn on a very small piece of paper. Is that right? How about letter or A4 format?
The bigger you draw, the more precise details become.

Have you ever thought about drawing with a fine liner?

To explain things, I'm drawing this on an a4 paper, but I've made a picture of the map. A fine liner may be a good idea. I'll see what the possibilities are. Thanks again!

If you have a glass table, put a lamp under it.
Then you can put a second paper over your pencil drawing and make the fine liner drawing on the second paper because the pencil drawing is projected through.
In the end you have no trouble with erasing the pencil.
