It looks like walls in the North start to be very popular
I feel like I should say something about not having posted in ages again, I think this sums it up:
But! I have done two new stuff. Both were commission maps for writers and are as usual pencil, ink, and some Photoshop.
The first one, for my returning client who is awesome, Arianne Tex Thompson, is a bit experimental. The idea is that the fish-people of her Children of the Drought series made a map of the rivers of an area. Someone else then found the map and filled it in with the land features, very hastily, and labeled it. This one will be in book 2 of the series, Medicine for the Dead.

The second is more basic and probably doesn't need an explanation It is for the re-release of S.G. Night's novel Attrition: the First Act of Penance. The font is by Dieter Steffmann, either Powell Antique or Packard Antique, I was switching between them and can't remember which one I picked

Beautiful maps, especially the Io one. The mountains are superb.
Deadshade: Haha, indeed xD
Soixante: Thanks, glad you like them!
Always enjoy seeing your maps Lingon, great job! Out of curiosity, what paper size and type did you use for these two?
Cheers,
Tainotim
Thanks Tainotim! The paper is A4 size for both of these (roughly – slightly cropped to fit requirements), regular printer paper. When I know I won't be using any wet techniques, I go for basic, cheap paper
Great work Lingon! Love those mountains.
Cheers,

Nice "efforts" Lingon! I guess it's some "efforts" for everybody when we are in december, isn't it ?
Thanks Arsheesh and Ilanthar! Yeah, december is hectic… and it's only 11 months left and then we're there again
Wanted to say that I really like the Dominions of Io map. Cheers Lingon.
