It was my honour recently to be asked to produce a map for Bruce Fergusson, the author of the Six Kingdoms book series. The Six Kingdoms universe is pretty interesting so it was a fun task. Please feel free to take a look and maybe leave a comment. Cheers,

Hi Viking!

This is a beautiful map. I especially like the way you have done the rivers. Just one comment ... I'm surprised that the nearby river doesn't find it's way into the Lake of Shallan, instead of into the mountains to the south of it. Seems a bit like it's running past the lowland and up into higher terrain.

Other than that, this map rates five stars!

Yes you're absolutely right. I believe we were bound by previously published canon alas so it has to be considered a geological curiosity

I have to echo the other comments. A very pleasing style. Very clean and clear. The colors are nice as well. I really hope to see you work on a more realistic and diverse world-layout with this style once. I'd like to see such a result

Looks really great Viking! I always like your heraldry as well - did you happen to make the symbols yourself? (e.g. the Lucidor one looks neat, IMO kind of like a kangaroo holding a spear )

Sharpes: Thanks mate I did all the symbols myself yes. The Lucidor one is a special swamp creature native to the six kingdom worlds. A marshfang, to be exact. Kind of like killer otters but with red hair. In the Heraldry I felt the black worked better as it was one of the faction colours.

I think the author plans to release it at some point. Maybe it is already on his site actually.
