Are you going to use Ptolemy's Geography maps for model and sources?
Title is... well, the best I could think of. :p
This here started out as the concept for a map request, but since the "client" has never reacted to emails or forum messages I might as well do this as a training map.
The idea was a region geographically roughly resembling Roman-era Germany, no labels or signs of civilization.
For the preliminary rivers I've used a hard round brush set to erase with a pressure-sensitive stylus (haven't worked with pressure sensitivity before, so this is again something new for me ).

Those rivers though, they are going to be great. Of course I always love that style so who am I to tell, but I like the detail put into them in conjunction.
Sorry guys, had to put this on the backburner as I was commissioned for two B&W maps.
I really like the white on blue colors.
Those rivers are really really sexy
The rivers do look nice, but they seem to meander in a peculiar fashion. They seem to have a preference for moving straight east or west.

Okay, with the commission finished I did a small amount of linework on the map today before going back to Pillars of Eternity...

Aaaaand I have to put this on the back burner again. Girlfriend unexpectedly will be without a job come the end of May, so I'm throwing myself at comissions in the meantime to create a bit of a financial buffer. *sigh*
Found a few minutes for my own stuff between commissions. Did some more line work on the piece.

Your linework is excellent. Glad you keep working on this (even occasionally).
