Welcome, you seem to fit right in. This is a very nice map as well. Good work
Hi everyone,
I came across The Cartographers' Guild and thought I must join. My name is Kevin, and I'm a bit map-crazy. Thought I'd briefly introduce myself before posting in some of the other forums.
I'm involved with maps in two ways. First, I study the history of cartography: I got my PhD last year from the University of Durham (UK) having studied the function of portolan charts, which were nautical maps made by various Mediterranean states between 1250 and 1700. You can view my thesis here, if you're interested: http://etheses.dur.ac.uk/10645/
Second, I own a little business called Manuscript Maps, in which I sell maps that I have drawn: http://www.manuscriptmaps.com. Currently I've done two city maps of Durham, a Whisky Map of Scotland, and a Shipping Forecast map. Currently working on a map of all the gins the UK.
Here's the Whisky Map:

Thanks for reading, and (hopefully) clicking!
