This map was done for a private commission.

You've been producing some lovely maps recently Dan and it's great to see another one! I particularly love the linework you've done for the crater and the chasm, though I'm not necessarily sure it quite matches with the mountain style you've gone for.

Nonetheless, the overall zoomed out look of the whole thing is great with that lovely aged, worn style once again and the beautfiul use of the subtle blue for the ocean!

    I love it

Full of classical map 'symbology'. I can feel the story bubbling away as I scan the landscape.

Would you mind if I asked what font you are using? I have such a hard time trying to pick the ones that 'look right'.

The color palette is simple and very elegant. The symbols have a great XVIIth century feel and your river system is tapered as hell, I love it !

The use of only the parchment color and texture and a soft application of it's complimentary color for the ocean was a good choice for this pieced. Together with the classic font style and the basic symbols and clean lines the overall effect is one of simple elegance. Great work!

beautifull colors and subtle linework, the way you depict relief in dak gorns divide works particularly well!
