Thread: Practice map 2017: Stonewall

    Default Practice map 2017: Stonewall

I was so inspired by SteffenBrands maps earlier today that I went ahead and did another practice map. Never really attempted to draw a city from a top-down perspective, but I figured why not! And it was a lot of fun, so definitely something I want to explore further. Might color this later on

Anyhow this is how it turned out after about 5 hours of work. Drawn with fineliners on a a4, and then labeled in Photoshop.

    Cheers,

This looks great! I'd like to see more like this from you, it doesn't even need colour.

I wish I could draw something half as good as that in 5 hours! Really great details and I love how you've made the shadows on the buildings really pop out!
