    Map Concordia

The Republic of Concordia - mighty city state and important sea and trading power. Once a small naval garrison of the Ormelian Empire, the city grew and rose to power after the downfall of the Empire.

    Very nice!
Colors are a bit muted for my taste, but that's personal preference not a knock on your work.

Just dropped by here and read 'Sapiento' - enough reason to check. I was not dissapointed, wonderful work you did there! =) The font is a very good choice in my opinion. I at first glance was sceptical because the letters seem to bounce around, some were higher, some seemed to be in some sort of unrest - but it gives an otherwise very ordered city somewhat of a loose feel. Courageous choice, in each case! You also kept the contrast quite low, I'm unsure about that because it gives it a bit of a gloomy feel (if it is something you wanted - kudos! =)). If it is not too late, I'd suggest to rotate the inner darts of the compass a bit so that the bright edges are towards the 4 directions (and a personal taste would be to give the N-E-S-W a blue-ish color, but that is just personal taste). Repped you! =)

    Thank you, Steffen!
Good ideas, but I will keep that in mind for my next city map - I will probably post it in an earlier stage, then I don't have to change so much to incorporate the feedback.

Lovely map with great layout. I like the muted colours. I think they work well.
