What do YOU want to do with it?
Once you figure that out, post it in the WIP forum and and follow-ups you do on it. You will get much more response to any questions you may have concerning map making. And don`t worry, we don't force people to become pros, but sometimes things just fall that way...
You might also want to look through our Tutorial forum. it is located at the bottom of the main page of the site.

Go to the tutes... seriously, gold mine down there at the bottom of the forum.
My advice is to plan it out. Grab some different colours and scribble on it, then refine it later by putting in the details where they need to be.
