Splendid map Olivier, chapeau ! However, not being as adamant as Karl on the texture, I think that lowering it's opacity a bit would keep the strong identity of your maps while allowing for more legibility. N'empêche, j'ai hâte que ça sorte en français

Wonderful map! I love all the little details in the line art. The stone walls and stairs are well done. I need to go spread some rep around....

I'm a huge fan of your beautiful penmanship, and your city maps are always beyond impressive. However, I have to admit to agreeing with Tainotim about the texture being a bit too distracting from the map underneath. It doesn't really seem to be a part of the paper the map is drawn on, it looks more like it's "just slapped on top of everything" so to speak. It doesn't help that the quality of the texture clearly is not enough for a map this big, so it looks blurry in addition this.

I honestly hate saying this, since I really do admire your skills as a mapper. But as Tainotim said, this isssue keeps the map from looking its best - and the best of it is absolutely gorgeous.

    Akae, that's a gorgeous map!
I think I have a friend who has RuneQuest*, so I might ask him to show it 'in action'

*might be the 'Classic' version though

Thanks at all! and I hear the critics and tips about the texture. This is a map made now for a while and indeed, I agree on the rendering a little too blurry background
