Map City map of Boldhome for RuneQuest [Commission]

It's my first map for Chaosium Inc. for the game RuneQuest. I made this map at the end of 2016 for the new edition of the game.
Handmade line art (ink) and colors, shadows, texture with Photoshop. The original map have a size of 100 cm X 70 cm.

Fantastic!! This is a wonderful map.
And I will say this, it is definitely inspiring. Well done.

    How long did it take?
Also, what resolution did you paint this on?

    (Congrats on the commission.)

(Ack! I can't rep you again so soon, I have to spread the rep first)

Wonderful, as always ! Always fond of your linework and colors.

Est-ce qu'il n'y aurait pas un marqueur en trop, ou un chiffre manquant, pour la tour n°9 - Lunar Tower ?

Splendid map Akae! What a fantastic city. I’m sure the client was very happy.

Now I’m going to be boring however and give one sour comment, which I have refrained to give on several other occasions. This map and many other you make are just splendid. Top-notch, really. However this heavy, dense texture you use, it’s just too much. The actual content of the map is splendid, but the texture makes it both hard to see and gives the whole thing a very digital plastic feeling, that I personally struggle with. To me the map would probably be 10 times better without it. I just don’t see the purpose for this kind of texture; the content is good enough to stand on its own.

Hope you take this comment in the right way, because I really like the map in itself.

    Cheers,
    Karl
