Looks like a beautiful area, I'm also looking to some Croatian/Serbic folklore names for some of the areas - like Leshy Forest (woodland fairy), Huldran Forest, Vodnik (male water spirit) for a lake, etc. Feel free to suggest, I'm just making the stuff up as it is.

JE I'll be working on the Text legibility after I finalize the land colors, will probably need the stroke though.

About suggestions..south stari grad means south old town which isnt such a great name for a mountain range

Otherwise there are hundreds of little islands in Croatia so a list of their names quite comprehensive and could be used to name things

Did the Mountain shadow/highlights, colored areas, added more type (still playing), added density areas for cities/towns (not sure, but kind of like the idea of showing the sprawl of each city/town. 12_Dalmatia2 .jpg

Update, tried a different forest look, redid the city sprawl (less busy), added agricultural fields, played with the background. Still need to get the text right, work on that this week as well as the Header. Comments welcome.12_Dalmatia3 .jpg
