    Unbelievable: shadows, reliefs and textures in what seems like the same draw... your test of a new technique is a real success

    And, thanks again for the support!

    @Thomas : I hope you'll find the time, then.
    @Diamond : Well, If you're talking about the wilbur render thing... I confess I often pray the Mighty Waldronate for inspiration.
    @ JO : glad you like the new technique (on the first map, right?)!

    Hum... I changed a bit my mind and did another inset map more close to the Verdugo one. Hope you'll like it too. When I'll get some time again, I'll work on the base regional map again.

    Looking great Ilanthar. Definitely the Ilanthar style to it.

    I don't know... I'm not quite sure of a lot of things right now. I may reduce the insert map (it's barely smaller than the big one) and the general size of whole thing isn't fixed either. The layout will be different in the end.

    As I'm doing the contour lines for the main map, I'm thinking that my "home made shaded relief" is probably too random. I may do a wilbur basis to redo it, if I got the time.

    OK, here's a test of new shaded relief (on the left)... Thoughts?

    I likes! Those mountain areas seem to lift off the page.

    Yummy

    Its looking like a photograph of one of those 3D maps you can get with embossed relief, but without the horrible varnish stuff they put on to protect the surface
