Or maybe I'd just really love to see ships in the map because I love ships.
Ahhh, Falconius, you have jumped the gun my friend! I was thinking the same exact thing and there will be ships, container ships, airships, possibly a dirigible, and maybe even a spacecraft of some sort. It desperately needs additional scale as you've noticed.

Arimel - Thank a lot, much appreciated.

The Elderly Cartographer - Hmmm, I was thinking yesterday how I was going to present the final image(s) and what that would like...need to think on that some more. I was thinking that maybe it's an architectural model shown under glass at their city hall or more of an actual map with detailed callout added over. Haven't quite resolved it yet.

The architectural model sounds neat. It would be cool to take the render, and GIMP/Photoshop in a glass case over it. Then get a picture of museum or a lobby of a city hall, and blur it for the background. So that it looks like you are peering in at a model of the city.
Of course it is easier said than done. I always have "delusions of grandeur" but can't pull it off. Lol.

Also Blender is totally free, and regularly updated, a wonder of a program.

Just thought I'd drop in a little update of the city center.
It's coming along, just need a few more refinements and it should be done here soon.

Looks good. The city definitely fills it in and makes it look better.

Hey all, well this was a bit more involved that I thought it was going to be but it's done, yay.
Hope you enjoy you brief and expedient stay in Monstrante, The Eternal City of Water, on the world of Vallis.

Wow! Love the Art Deco style and layout. The write-up paints a vivid picture of their circumstances and government.
