Yeah baby, that's gettin' pretty now.

A beautiful move... the light mountains stand out very well on this choice of color

Very nice work on your mountains! And I agree with Kellerica about the waters.

A change to the land style necessitated a change to the mountains to something bolder. I was really intending to go with a soft mountain style with no shadowing but they were getting a little lost so a change was needed.
I may tone down the land's edge countouring but I'll leave that decision for later. For now, I'm really quite liking the strength of the lines. We'll see when I start adding the forests. Things may change.

I've obviously only done about half the land edging btw.

I've roughed in the cliff where a large city resides. I was hoping for a waterfall over it but I'm kind of having to jump through hoops getting the land to a logical place to support it. It may have to go. Whatever, I need to rebuild the coastline around the area.

As Sapiento said, it's a great idea for the border ! For the rest of the map, I especially admire the way you treated textures and colors. I really like the feeling of being able to touch the land or the sea... It's very beautiful and very attractive!

Well I can certainly feel time slipping away from me here.

Had no time to work on this for the last four or five days. But here's a small update.

Finished the land edging. Made a start on some roads and added a bunch of trees.
