Default September-October Challenge: A Tide in the Affairs of Men

Forgive me for not posting any WIPs but I kind of started, then started over, then started over and I was extremely hesitant to post anything because I knew not whether I would finish the latest attempt. So here I am, scurrying to scan this guy in, it weighs in at 26x22 inches and done in watercolor and ink. Essentially, I wanted to go for a more abstract leaning map of the boroughs of NYC, something that conveyed movement and dynamism that contrasted with the immobility of cool colors (partly because most of my memories of NYC are of it during the winter months).

I've also got a high res scan of it that is way to big to bother hosting. But I figured if its a digital gallery, they might prefer something high res. But really, what do I know. Speaking of ignorance... am I attaching this thing right?

nice a watercolor of NY - and just in time *lol*... no problem with not posting WIPs, that not a requirement and often a bit difficult if you're not working digitally. Concerning the resolution, normal screen size is cool, resolution above that is good for close ups
And have some rep for your first uploaded map and that a competition map too

It certainly broadens the spectrum of styles being created - I like it!
