Here are two maps (color inset and b&w interior) for the world of Mir'aj. These maps were completed by Ascension for the novel In the Shadow of Swords by Val Gunn (thats me ) that will be released next week.
I think it turned out amazing. Thanks again to Ascension.

I make use of Wag's mountain brushes.
We didn't know what we wanted the writing to say so I just used the alphabet with the Besmellah fonts.
If the radiance of a thousand suns was to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the Mighty One...I am become Death, the Shatterer of worlds.

This is good.
Love the map Ascension! The Arabic flavor lends itself well! I've used the Besmellah font in the past for my game campaigns and let the group figure it out.... keeps them occupied for hours while I eat popcorn. lol
Val, read the first 10 pages on Amazon.com and ordered the book. *THIS* will be a fun story to read!
Thanks again for sharing!!! *REPPED*
