Welcome to the Guild and have some rep for a great first post.
Hi there.
I just started fantasy mapping very recently for a project where I am creating a conworld called Moxaia - a highly technologically-advanced planet.
So far I've made this world map using Fractal Mapper and Photoshop. Thanks to Flawedspirit for the tutorial which helped me make it.

It is in no way a finished project. I intend to expand this world indefinitely, exploring its geology, history, politics, economics, war etc. I have created and named around 150 nations and put them on this map, but I want to go for a more Atlas-style map to introduce them (I love HandsomeRob's style).
The next thing I would like to do is to wrap this map around a sphere so I can get a globe on Google Earth, but this currently makes the continents look pretty ugly with the compression. Is there a simple way to do this?
