Default *** October Voting - Gothic Horror ***

As the Frankenstorm barrels towards us in NYC, it's time to put the voting up!

This month the challenge was to create a gothic horror map and we got some excellent entries. Please vote in the poll. As with the recent lite challenges, here we're asking everyone to vote for as many entries as you like. Note that voting for all of them will not help to decide a winner.

Please remember to rep all those entries that you vote for, and may the best map win!

Voting will run for 4 days from today.

Polls take time to put together, and they can only be done *after* the post is created. So it usually takes 15 mins or so for the poll to appear. Should be there now!

What a hard choice! All of the entries are incredibly detailed works of art, not just cartography. In the end I voted for Catacombs of The Star Spawn and Under The Hammer as those two maps really appealed to me. A close third would have been either The Horror In Clay just for the amount of detail (but is it a map?) or Bogies, Harkstone House - the bodies in the sacrificial? chamber were a nice, creepy touch.

I would have like to give each entry a vote but that would be useless. Well done guys, truly awesome entries

What a great field of entries and as usual the choice was extremely difficult. I am not a huge fan of horror(although the old school stuff always has a great story to it) I made my choice by which of the entries "disturbed" me the most and hands down it was "Harkstone House" by Bogie. The lighting, the details the pure "horror" of it won me over. My second vote went to "Washer at the Ford" by Seraphine Harmonium. I'm not certain whether this entry was done or not but it was very well done and very sparse (just as horror should be) All the entries were great and I'll be repping you all
I am the breath of Dragons...The Song of Mountains...The Stories of Rivers....The Heart of Cities.... I am A Cartographer....

Yeah, Bogie's torso on a table was really creepy ... that got my vote.
All of them were great (reminding me why I prefer to attempt the Light Challenge from time to time).
    Great Job to all.
