OK barely any progress but here are some updates to level 1

I really wanted to get in on this but I've had no real time to speak of. Here is the WIP of the first 2 levels of a small castle. A long way to go to finish this one up and make it presentable but I though I'd put something in the thread for now.

While level 1 contained the main public throne room,
Level 2 contains more of the regular working levels.
The Kitchen, Stewards room, Keep Guards and Servants cafeteria are located here.

I somehow missed this thread. Very fun to see the steps along the way on this one. I really like the view with all the separate layers on one sheet. I like the hazy cut off on the grass in the interior much more than the sharp cut off outside the gates. The shadow on the roof of the small building on the grounds in the lower right hand corner seems inconsistent with the rest, looks like the light is coming from the right rather than the left as seen with the wall shadows. I really like the scale of the piece, not too big or too small.
This is a great map, congrats on the progress. A good contest entry and a very useful map for many people to use in games, I'm sure!
cheers,

Coming along nicely! Any chance the final maps will be larger/higher resolution so we can see more details?

Bogie,
Thanks. My plan is to do that but I'm not sure how the scraper picks up multiple files or if I have to place them all in a single file which might be to big. So any helpful ideas would be great.
