    Default The World of LaGuna

Has been brought to life. My artist had apparently never considered doing cartography before, but now she wants to look into being part of the guild.

I like this cartoony style with loud colors but ...
Rivers never split unless in a delta or around a river island(s). This is because water always flows downwards and at every point of its flow there is a unique direction where the slope is maximal.
If there were 2 or more, the erosion would quickly eliminate all but 1.

Hey everyone. I definitely agree about the rivers, I'm not sure what direction those are running But of course it was her first map, so, hopefully she does end up joining here and learning from some of the masters. I did want to post the overall finalized product which included her central art piece, the Eastern Stretch and the Western Stretch.

Well, The Panama Canal flows out in both directions from Gatun lake. But Gatun lake is fed by the Chagres river. If the lake was fed by an underground source it could flow out like that (it is a fantasy world)

    I love the art though.

Yeah, nice painterly style on the maps. She should join for sure.
