Hey Everybody,
I've been wanting to buy Dundjinni and it says on their webpage that they have a CD, but when I go to their store, I can't find it.
Also, I seem to be having problems posting to the forum on their site. It tells me I don't have permission to post.
Thanks for any help,
CH

What operating system are you using?

I was trying to buy and download the mac version earlier today and Paypal said the store was unable to receive money. (???) Was it just a glitch or are they out of business or something?

Wrong.
But PayPal doesn't work anymore.
Dundjinni no longer is an active product, but you still can buy it from the online store with a credit card but not with PayPal.
Caution: Dundjinni cannot be installed without special technical knowledge under Windows 8.0 and 8.1, and some beta testers have reported that it can't be installed at all under Windows 10.

Mark is correct. There are a lot of posts on the Dundjinni forums about the problems with the online store and about the things you need to know before you install it. There is no CD, PayPal does not work but other credit cards, including PayPal credit cards do. There is no Tech Support other than us volunteers, and there is no one at the "Store" to respond to emails.
The Mac Version is very outdated and does not work with any of the newer Mac systems. The Windows version DJ 1.0.7 works fine on Win 7 and earlier. It is challenging to install on Win 8 but can be done if you really know what you are doing.
If you buy you can contact me for help with getting started. Do not lose the Registration Key that will be emailed to you. You can't install or re-install without it and if the store goes offline again there is nothing we can do to help you. There is so much free art there is little reason to buy the art packs.
In order to post on the forums I need to know the username you registered under and then I can upgrade your status.

Has anyone heard from the owner. When was the Last Update on the Website by the Company? I still say out of Business for general purpose..only thing keeping it alive is the forum...You guys. I am looking for an older Windows 98 System just for Dundjinni..I really Loved it more than DD3. Even when They made it possible to use DJ Fan Art.
Maybe Some of you guys should approach Profantasy about doing Art Packs.

Yes.
You can say that, but it's not true. When was the Last Update on the Website by the Company? I still say out of Business for general purpose..only thing keeping it alive is the forum...You guys.
It also runs fine with Windows 2000 and Windows XP. It runs fairly well with Windows 7 too.I am looking for an older Windows 98 System just for Dundjinni..I really Loved it more than DD3. Even when They made it possible to use DJ Fan Art.
Why? The Dundjinni graphics as they are can be used with any program including the ProFantasy programs. If one were instead to make "Art Packs" for ProFantasy, who would have an advantage other than some ProFantasy users? In turn, it would create disadvantages for users of PhotoShop, The GIMP, FM8, etc.Maybe Some of you guys should approach Profantasy about doing Art Packs.
