    Map The Khôm-Desert (Regional Map)

Aaaand there is another one! =)

The Khôm was something I had done a very long while ago. And well, I talked to the publisher and they said I am allowed to share this, finally! You may see this thing and think 'wait, I've already seen this somewhere' - and you would be correct! ;) This was the map I made this tutorial you might remember from this thread: Click here to see (or in my signature).
It was a lot of fun to do! I also included a lot of details (as usual on my maps) and even made the city-shapes resemble some of the most recognizable things you can find there. Love this one. Check out the tutorial! =)

Hope you like this one, so glad to share this with you! Learned a lot since then...
Best wishes and stay as awesome as you are, Steffen =)

I really like the colors and the Salzee region. Great work!

Awesome! I thought the map you had in your tutorial would be one of the Horasreich. That's so much better imo! So, it's Leomar's personal war map from the Khom-War? Makes me look after my old copy from "Der Löwe und der Rabe I&II" for the nostalgic feels
To the map itself: I love the colour palette a lot and think the amount of information + the overall atmosphere it transports is perfect for an "in-game" rpg map. The city icons are lovely. Great job overall! Also on a sidenote, i love the way you made the Gor plateau. Compared with the former official map of the region, it captures the darkness of the place much better.

Well, I hope you like surprises I don't know if it is his personal war map, but I would guess its more like his informations he had at this point. If you ever played 'Der Löwe und der Rabe' then... feel my envy. And yes, the Gor-plateau... was about time someone made it the reddish-brown tone it is always said to be =)
By the way, just remembered the blurred border-style I went for with this... hadn't seen this anywhere else before, had to try it. Sweet memories...

    Excellent map!

Man, I wish I still had my old DSA group... and the time to actually play the game.

@Chick: The will to do so if you could is appreciated, too =)
@Wired: You should look for a group. And make the time. No, seriously, it's too bad... :/

Wish that I could. A shift-based dayjob and work on Saturdays twice a month doesn't really leave much wiggle room, though...

Anyways, I really love the map. I still remember the old world map that accompanied the DSA 3 basic box, and your rendition of the Khom desert is so much more vivid that the two hardly compare. Have some rep!

Excellent work with so much detail! I like the contrasting colours between the grey, snowy mountains and the desert & green areas that surround them.
