    Post I know you've read something similar....

    'ello out there, I think I come in peace but I can not promise anything.

    As you might have guessed I'm new to the website. And I'd like help with what ever others can offer. I'm not really all that slow in picking things up, if that helps.....

    I love making maps, but over the years have found out I'm not really all that good at doing so. I'm doing nanowrimo soon and am interested in making a map for my main character. Or would it be I did nanowrimo, that goes in to when you read this.... Anywho, the MC is traveling and I always think a map is nesassery to help me move on.... Wow this post became a little long, or longer then I normally make them...

    So to sum it up, if you have any pointers please show and tell....

    What pointers people can help you with depend on the software you will be using (if any). GIMP is free and there are some fantastic tutorials here for it (as well as other software).
