I finally have finished my FIRST MAP EVER ( Atleast I hope I wont come back to it after a few weeks and change it all over again ) , I sat at the map a loooong time and was learning not only how to draw maps and add brushes I also learned a hell of alot about photoshop... Im tired and yet suuuper satisfied.

The brushes, the wind rose, the borders and the background textures arent mine. I used them and of course changed them alot ( especcialy the wind rose and the borders ) to match my idea of my map.

The Map depicts a continent which im creating for a very looong time. It is a European-like continent with alot of typical medieval kingdoms similar to germany, Poland, England, France and Italy. In the south however are typical arab and mongol nations.

I hope you guys enjoy it and can still give me some critique from which I could learn a bit more

Hey Wulfic - the pic isn't showing up.

Edit - that fixed it. Very nice.
The layout and border are excellent.
The shields and fonts look nice too.
Really like the grassy steppe area.

One question tho, How can I add the map so it is visible as a small image ? I really cant figure out that one, although I was searching the internet through ( it might be because english is not my first language ) Thanks in advance !!

I think your image file size is too large to post here.
If you do a smaller size - either make the image smaller to post here or lower the quality.
The file size limit is something like 5 mb or something.
You can still leave the link to your larger version on DA, then people can see it larger there.

Wow, incredible work for your first map, way to start out Wulfic! I like the polish language a lot lately (probably because Witcher III left a hard stain on my brain ^^), nice to see this language included in a map.

Including the image: Go advanced, manage attachments, upload the image, click 'Insert Inline'. =)
If size is the issue (hrhr): You can usually click 'safe for web' in the program you are using - making this 72dpi resolution, the maximum a monitor can display anyway.

Same... Witcher has been influencing me a lot lately and I've been considering visiting Poland thanks to it :d Lovely map and lovely names, Wulfic!
Are you planning on continuing with this continent in forms of country maps/regional maps? Would love to see more.
