Mar / Apr 2016 Lite Challenge: Compass Rose

Starting out with a basic style but looking to add some nautical elements. Perhaps some wind roses for some of the directions.

This will be the finished compass. For this challenge anyway. I'm going to see about making a similar 3D version in Blender. Compass.png

I like the rose, but I feel, that the font doesn't fit it. The rose is crisp and geometrical, so you could probably try giving it a bit more "modern" or at least cleaner letterstyle. And the shadows work fine!

Now that I look at it again, your right. I used a font called BlackAdder because it kind of old. But that really doesn't fit with this non-old looking compass. Thanks for the siuggestion I'll try something different for the final.
