Thread: Unnamed Region

    Wip Unnamed Region

I wasn't sure if this is the forum to put this. I do maps in Worldmachine, usually for Minecraft, and sometimes simply for rendering out things for my Graphic Design Class. Anyways, here is a project that I'm making, it'll serve for the setting of a Roleplay server, either via MUD or some other source.

    Really nice work Chaotikal
I always enjoy seeing a good terrain render.
Do you have any other terrains or maps you've done with WM?
    I'd love to see more.

Sure thing! Here's a couple more works, some untextured.

And a close up on the highest point, a mountain unoriginally called The Mountain.

And a low-res picture of a high fantasy terrain with multiple biomes.

In these you can see how I've been improving, the last one is the oldest one, and the one posted is my most recent. Practice does make the skill in terms of this program.

For sure. You've gotten to a great level with your most recent piece.

Looks really nice, so are you planning to turning your terrain into a map afterwards or are you staying at terrrain level? There could be some lovely labeling on that and even small towns

I've added a beach and eroded away a bit of the plains to get more interesting shorelines.
