U wow, love the options you were presented with and the start of your map looks promising![]()

Although i was flirting with #7 and #5, i picked #1 since it gave me some nice ideas/ pictures straight away. A blue sun, silver mountains and burning wastes screams for an aetheric, somewhat Moebius like, atmosphere on this plane. Next question is of course, whether i'll be able to bring it to paper.
I have some ideas about the dwarfs (which will be dwarfs only by size) and wyverns already, but i have to overthink it a bit more.
Here is what i have so far:

I'm allergic to pollen! - Amaranthus hypochondriacus
Another blue sun!
This is a great choice and I'm looking forward to seeing your silvery mountains.
"We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams"
Boy I'm glad to see this mountains again !
Very nice! The "silver" tone is already palpable. I thought dwarves prefered gold, but hey, dwarves love every shiny metals didn't they?
Many thanks to you all, i only hope i can live up to the combined expectations of a croat, a scotswoman and three french guys

The map will depict some stations on the journey of Snuzzi, a miner's daughter from a small village in Shimmeringen, who moved out into the wide world, eventually facing Drec, the King of the Dark Wyverns.
Shimmeringen and Gleamore are two Countries of the Srebvyr, the small people of Tirothell, mostly occupied with mining, smithing and gathering stardust.
I tweaked the parchment background and changed the intensity of the blue sun's light.
Beside some more mountain ranges, i added some forests and colored them. What do you think about them?
Also started to adding some sites. More are planned already, as the labels show.
Cheers,
AL
This is looking good Abu.

Thanks John, i'm glad you like it so far. I'm quite happy with the gate of dawn too, feels as if i've been there before...
Here is an update where i added some more mountains, including "the Molten Heights", something i often thought about while drawing mountains and in this setting with mountains of solid silver it was the perfect place. I also tested the light in one area, to see how these silvery mountains look. Pretty shiny, aren't they?![]()

You've really done the 'blue sun' part of it well. Your mountains are always so fascinating.
I was going to say, "Your mountains are a bit bright and shiny", then I read about them being solid silver. That is so cool!
Looking forward to seeing more.
