Question Making new map, help with tundra?

Hello everyone, first off, this is the first map ive ever done, I know the geography is wonky but im making it with players in mind. Kinda want it densly packed with different things. It's a cold place, kinda like Russia or Alaska, its got a low land wet lands bog type thing, forests hills and such.
I'm wanting to put a tundra up in around the top left corner, but I can't seem to find any symbols that would indicate such a place. I think of a place scattered with small lakes and mud pits, frozen ground and crag, bogs here and there and little vegetation. A fantastic place for drowned temples and ceaseless undead. Any idea on how to draw such a place? obviously I'm using paper and pencil, I can't afford a pc or tablet nice enough for drawing software. 20160821_123617.jpg

Tundra seems to be a little-mapped terrain. A quick Google search on "tundra map symbol" turned up a brief thread here from 2013, that ended with a symbol offered for steppes, but not for tundra. I did find a couple of links that might offer some inspiration. Otherwise, I can only suggest that you look at some photos of tundra until you find something that fits your vision for the area, then do some sketches of that until you find a representation you like.
